The beaches of Fuerteventura are always worth a visit as they are among the most beautiful in Europe. Whether surfers, divers, hikers or sun worshipers, on Fuerte everyone will find their own dream beach. We have selected the most beautiful and collected some information for you.
The dunes of Corralejo
The beach of the National Park (Parque Natural de las Dunas de Corralejo) is one of the most beautiful of Fuerteventura. The sand is very bright and fine and is great for sunbathing and swimming. It has a length of 11 kilometers in the south of Corralejo and offers good views of the islands of Los Lobos and Lanzarote. Even naturists and chillers will find a quiet place because the whole beach is divided again and again by small coves. It is also a place for the small hunger in between, as snacks and drinks are offered at a beach cafe.
The beaches of Jandia
The beaches of Jandia are by far the most beautiful of all on Fuerteventura and extend over 21 kilometers in the south of the island. The area begins at the Costa Calma and extends to Morro Jable. The sand is very fine and clean, the water is clear and while snorkeling you can observe all sorts of exotic fish. The shore falls flat into the water and makes the water here a bit warmer than on the other beaches, so you should definitely take a bath here.
The beaches of El Cotillo
The beaches of El Cotillo are the best beaches for chilling and to be undisturbed. Since this area is still very undeveloped for tourism, it offers surfers and individual tourists plenty of space and seclusion. Lava rock divides the beach into loud little bays in which nudism is not uncommon.
